WeRide: Innovative Self-Driving Solutions Fuel Worldwide Development

WeRide Inc. Announces Unaudited Financial Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended December 31, 2024

Guangzhou, China – [Date] – WeRide Inc. (“WeRide” or the “Company”), a global leader in autonomous driving technology, today announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2024.

Recent Highlights

WeRide continues to strengthen its global market presence through strategic entries and targeted expansions across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. These initiatives are driven by the Company’s ongoing technological advancements and operational expertise, both of which are critical to its leadership in autonomous driving.

In 2024, WeRide achieved record-high robotaxi revenue and the strongest global revenue performance since its founding.

WeRide Advances Technology with End-to-End Models in ADAS and Level-4 Systems

In 2024, WeRide began deploying end-to-end models across both its Level-4 driverless and ADAS systems.
The Company’s end-to-end architecture utilizes a large visual-language model (VLM) embedded with fundamental world knowledge and further trained on nearly one million hours of carefully curated, high-quality driving data from human drivers and simulated environments.

This approach ensures that the trained model not only possesses broad world understanding but also deep driving insights. WeRide’s training data continues to expand, covering more long-tail scenarios through both real-world and simulated data.

As a result, WeRide’s autonomous driving systems can perform at a level comparable to skilled professional drivers in complex urban environments, delivering human-like judgment and exceptionally smooth driving experiences.

In WeRide’s Level-4 driverless products—such as robotaxi and robobus—the end-to-end model is combined with deterministic, safety-critical frameworks to provide smooth, human-like driving while maintaining the high safety standards required for driverless operations. These capabilities are featured in the Company’s latest GXR robotaxi, now operating in multiple countries and cities.
